We've listed below all the potential solutions to the problem faced by many users. Significant causes of such problems are a glitch in the origin updater or corrupted cache files, distorted temporary files, or issues with the core origin files.

The application must be updated regularly to avoid any problem. Cache files should be categorically cleaned from time to time for the better and smooth running of the software. Temporary hidden files might create some issues very rarely; hence they must be sought after from time to time. We have tried to cover every cause in the solutions mentioned below.

1. Download the latest windows update.

2. Let the origin client update from the back end.

3. Run a clean boot.

4. Run the program compatibility troubleshooter.

5. Delete all the origin's cache files from your system.

6. Update the graphics driver to its latest version.

7. Uninstall and then reinstall origin software.

You do not need to try all the solutions that are mentioned above, try one at a time until you get your problem solved.

1. Download the latest windows version

This problem might be the older version of windows; the application updates need the latest version of the operating system to become incompatible with the older versions; hence you should check whether or not you have updated your windows to the latest version.

Check the availability of updates, press the Windows button on your keyboard, and search for updates. Download the update and restart your computer. If compatibility is an issue, you will be able to run the application on your system after this.

2. Let the origin client update from the back end

There is a possibility that the software is being updated at the back end, and the software cannot be used while being updated, so wait for the origin client to complete the update and then try to start origin. To check whether it is being updated, open the task manager from the taskbar and search for origin application, and check the network column.

If all your network bandwidth is in the network column, then it is being updated. Please wait for a while and try to re-run the application after it gets updated.

3. Run a clean boot

If the problem remains unsolved, then perform a clean boot. Sometimes one problematic software creates problems for other software too; hence clean boot is necessary. Clean boot is a troubleshooting function that allows the user to manually disable all or a few of the software on the system. You need to find the one problematic software and uninstall it from your system, and your problem will be solved.

Here is how you can perform a clean boot.
